PH60416: GRANT MANAGEMENT NOT GENERATING ADBTEP2 JOB AFTER "PRIVILEGES" OPTION

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• When the user uses the Grant Management "Privileges" option to
  add privileges, no ADBTEP2 job is generated. The User is sent
  back to panel ADB2ZGM.

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: When the user attempts to use grant     *
  *                      management to add privileges, no JCL    *
  *                      job is generated, and panel ADB2ZGPA    *
  *                      is displayed.                           *
  ****************************************************************
  If the user's ZTEMPF is a pre-allocated temporary VIO data set,
  and the user attempts to use grant management to add a privilege
  (panel ADB2ZGPA), no JCL job will be generated. Instead, the
  Grant Management Menu (ADB2ZGM) panel is displayed.
  

Problem conclusion

• The problem has been addressed.
