PH60049: DBRF IN INTERACTIVE MODE INCORRECTLY SETS BLANK IN THE "IMS MANAGEMENT OF ACBS" WITH CERTAIN TERMINAL TYPES SPECIFIED

APAR status

Error description

• DBRF in interactive mode sets blank incorrectly in the "IMS
  management of ACBs" field when terminal type 3277KN or 3278KN is
  specified in the ISPF Settings panel.
  
  From a customer symptom perspective:
  A customer sets "IMS management of ACBs enabled?" to "N" in
  the "1.SET UP IMS ENVIRONMENT" panel.
  In the next panel, "IMS management of ACBs" is blank,
  where it should be displayed as "Disabled".
  As a result the VSAM datasets cannot be referred to.

  *                      environment.                            *

  * RECOMMENDATION: Apply the maintenance for this APAR.         *

  When terminal type 3277KN, 3278KN, or 3278HO is specified in the
  ISPF Settings panel and you run DBRF in interactive mode and try
  to set up IMS environment, the "IMS management of ACBs" field
  shows a blank incorrectly and the IMS environment is not set up
  successfully. As the result, you cannot view databases.
  

Problem conclusion

• DBRF has been modified to fix the error.
