Error description

  • The error message "Error creating client_auth_token in
initSecContext" is seen in servant's SYSPRINT and
SYSLOG(JESMSGLG) during a standalone server termination. There
is no impact but it should be removed.

The above CORBA exception message was issued even though
PH30748 was installed. There's another code that throws
the error without the shutdown check.

    ****************************************************************
The condition is not an error. The server is shutting
down and it is unable to handle the client_auth_token
    creation.
It doesn't need to be reported.

Problem conclusion

  • With this APAR, the code checks the server status, and do not
print the message when the server is shutting down.

The fix for this APAR is targeted for inclusion in fix pack
    8.5.5.26 and 9.0.5.20.
