APAR status

Error description

  • Although the IBM Transformation Extender Launcher does not
support the use of the Google Cloud PUB/SUB adapter as a Source
Event, the Integration Flow Designer allows you to define this
adapter as a Source Event.

IBM Transformation Extender Users of Integration Flow Designer
in the ITX Design Studio.

Problem Description:
Integration Flow Designer was allowing watches (source events)
to be defined for Google Cloud Pub/Sub and RabbitMQ adapter
sources.

Platforms Affected:
All

Problem conclusion

  • Corrected logic for determining if watches should be enabled.
Since Google Cloud Pub/Sub and RabbitMQ adapters do not support
watches for ITX launcher, with this fix enabling them is no
longer allowed in the IFD.

Applies to:
10.1.0.2, 10.1.1.1, 10.1.2.0, 11.0.0.0

Fixed in the next service packs and releases.
