PH59294: SDUMP IN CSQWDSDM DOES NOT SPECIFYY SDATA=RGN - ABOVE THE BAR STORAGE MISSING IN THE DUMP

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Request to change the SDATA specification for the SDUMP in
  CSQWDSDM to additionally include RGN to fix the above the bar
  storage missing in the dump file.
  
  The dump looks truncated, but  IP STATUS for each dump shows:
  ==> FLAGS SET IN SDUSDATA:
   Dump all PSAs.
   Dump SQA.
   Dump LSQA.
   Dump trace data.
   Dump CSA.
   Dump summary dump data.
  
  
  Which is suspiciously missing 'Dump rgn-private area'. The
  SDUMP in CSQWDSDM which took this dump does not specify
  SDATA=RGN so whether the private region is dumped or not will
  depend on the installation defaults.
  

Local fix

• Specify SDATA=RGN for the SDUMP in CSQWDSDM.
  This can be validated by checking the SDUMP output of /D
  DUMP,OPTIONS to see whether RGN is included in the list

  *                      above-the-bar storage is not collected  *
  *                      in the dump.                            *

  The SDUMPX SDATA specification in CSQWDSDM did not specify RGN,
  meaning that it would fall back on the installation defaults.
  
  In the case that RGN was switched off on the installation,
  above-the-bar storage would not be collected by the dump which
  is needed to diagnose and resolve problems.
  

Problem conclusion

• The SDUMPX SDATA specification in CSQWDSDM has been updated to
  include RGN as well as NUC, LPA and TRT.
