Error description
A customer running the stored procedure ACCEL_GET_TABLES_INFO notices that the return values AccessCount and LastAccessTimeStamp for an accelerator-shadow table have been updated although no query was run that has accessed that table. It seems to be the case that, for example, the replication process updating the accelerator-shaow table triggers an update of those fields. This is in contradiction with the description in https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/daafz/7.5?topic=procedures-sysprocac cel-get-tables-info and with the intention of those information fields. It is intended to deliver a corresponding fix with Accelerator maintenance level 7.5.12.2. Problem Summary: The fields AccessCount and LastAccessTimeStamp for an accelerator-shadow table are not only updated by customer queries but also by other processes such as replication. The fields are changing even without running any query. Users Affected: Customers monitoring accelerator-shadow tables by using stored procedure ACCEL_GET_TABLES_INFO to retrieve the fields AccessCount and LastAccessTimeStamp. Problem conclusion
The issue has been fixed with Accelerator maintenance level 7.5.12.2. The fields LastAccessTimeStamp and AccessCount of an accelerator-shadow table table are now only updated if the table is accessed by a customer query. Upgrade your accelerator environment(s) accordingly.
