Error description

• IBM Transformation Extender (ITX) map execution may report a
  return code 18 - "Page Usage Count error" when the input type
  tree is defined with group type which uses group exclude
  characters and the input file size is greater than 200 Kb.

Problem summary

• Users Affected:
  IBM Transformation Extender users who use types which use group
  exclude characters.
  
  Problem Description:
  When validation of data for an input card requires validating
  data relative to a group type which uses group exclude
  characters, a large input to the card may result in the map
  completing with a warning. The warning is a page usage count
  error (return code 18).
  
  Platforms Affected:
  All
  

Problem conclusion

• A function which is used in the implementation of group exclude
  character processing did not consistently release buffers which
  were allocated for processing. This function was corrected to
  always release allocated buffers.
  
  Applies to:
  10.1.0.2, 10.1.1.1, 10.1.2.0, 11.0.0.0
  
  Fixed in the next service packs and releases.
