• This apar has been opened for diagnostic purposes, when Db2
  pages are left in the GBP after the object has been converted to
  non-GBP-dependent. Dump symptoms follow -

  Special castout was invoked to castout pages that have not
  been castout for an extended period of time. The ABEND04E
  RC00C20263 DSNB5SPC occurred because the object was not
  GBP-dependent. There should be no pages to castout if the
  object is not GBP-dependent.  The pages could have been cast
  out and the object converted to non-GBP-dependent by the time
  DSNB5SPC checked whether the object was GBP-dependent.
  

Problem conclusion

• Db2 was fixed to verify if the object has pages in the GBP
  that need to be castout after finding the object is not
  GBP-dependent.  The ABEND04E RC0C20263 DSNB5SPC is avoided
  if there are no pages to be castout for this object.
