PH58508: INTERPRET PANELS ADB21KI1 AND ADBP1KSI HAVE INVALID OR INADEQUATE DESCRIPTION OF COPYID VALUES

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• After applying UI93767,  when running the "I" command on the
  dependent objects the owner & Copy id values are now correct ,
  but the description of the COPYID is sometimes not correct on
  both the Interpretation of the current version of the package
  and Interpretation of the dependent object at statement level,
  especially when the  current version of the package is not
  COPYID=0.

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: The description of COPYID in the        *
  *                      interpretation panels for packages and  *
  *                      package dependencies can be incorrect   *
  *                      or inadequate.                          *
  ****************************************************************
  The interpretation panels for packages (ADB21KI1) and package
  dependencies (ADB21KDI) list the COPYID column value from the
  Db2 catalog.  If the current copy of the package does not have a
  COPYID value of 0, the descriptions of the COPYID value on these
  panels can be missing or incorrect, as follows:
  - For COPYID values other than 0, a description of the COPYID
  value is missing.
  - For COPYID values of 0, the value is incorrectly described as
  the current copy of the package.
  

Problem conclusion

• The problem has been fixed. On panels ADB21KDI and ADB21KI1, the
  description for COPYID will be "Current copy of the package" for
  the COPYID value for the current copy of the package
  and "Phased-out copy of the package" for the COPYID
  value that is not for the current copy of the package and is
  not values 1 or 2, which are reserved for the previous copy (1)
  and original copy (2) of the package.
