Error description

• When using the IBM Transformation Extender Pack for Supply Chain
  EDI 10.2.1.0 with EDI data and processing input containing the
  following example BGM segment.
  
  Input:'BGM+1234+2023072617770001'
  
  E2098 One or more segments in the transaction are in error.
  E2058 The segment at position 2, segment id 'BGM' contains data
  element errors.
  E2139 An element is too long. Element: 1, Subelement: 1,
  Occurrence: n/a, Value: '1234'
  
  Output from WDI and ITX are different.
  
  WDI Output: UCD+39+2:1
  ITX Output: UCD+39+1:1
  
  Erroneous Data Element Position in Segment (0098) Identifies by
  numerical location, within a segment, the single or composite
  element containing the error. The segment mark must always be
  considered number one (1).

• The element position is off by 1 and is not counting the segment
