• After applying UI93359 for APAR PH55648, ABEND S0C1 occurs in
  FRXMPSB0 in the DRF SAS region if the DISP(PDS) option is

  After PTF UI93359 is applied, the DBD/PSB reading module
  (FRXMPSBS0) has added logic to issue a macro to check if the
  operating environment is an IMS managed ACBs environment.
  The process of reading DBD/PSB is done only in the MAS (DRF
  master address space) environment, so the processing module of
  this macro (FRXMCAT0) is loaded only in the MAS environment.
  However, this module is called not only to read DBD/PSB member,
  but also to read the corresponding PDS member when DISP(PDS) is
  specified. And, this process of reading the PDS is performed in
  the RSS (DRF recovery sort subordinate address space), not in
  the MAS. In the RSS environment, the macro processing module
  (FRXMCAT0) is not loaded and the module address is set to null,
  so when DISP(PDS) is specified, and the macro is called in
  FRXMPSB0, S0C1 ABEND occurs.
  

Problem conclusion

• FRXMSPB0 is changed to to issue a macro to check whether the
  operating environment is an IMS managed ACBs environment only
  when this module is running in MAS.
