  *                      onto a Java Subject for Link to Liberty *
  *                      CICS transactions can be expensive in   *
  *                      performance for high volume workloads.  *
  ****************************************************************
  By default when an EXEC CICS LINK is issued to a CICS Liberty
  program internal CICS processing creates a Java Subject with
  security credentials based on the CICS task's user id.  The
  performance of this processing can suffer from z/OS local lock
  contention.

Problem conclusion

• CICS has been updated to cache the result of calling
  Liberty (which in turn calls the External Security Manager) to
  determine if the task's user id exists in the registry.
  
  The com.ibm.cics.jvmserver.wlp.security.subject.create JVM
  profile option added by PH38861 can still be used to bypass
  the propagation of the CICS task id onto a Java Subject if this
  is not required.
