PH56636: KC LINE COMMAND SHOWING INCORRECT PACKAGE VERSION AND DET COMMAND ON PACKAGE HANGS

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• User has a Db2 data sharing group at FL V13R1M100 , with two
  members started at V13 and one at V12. For package DSNADMCD in
  Collid DSNADM, they have a V13 supplied package with version
  V13R1 with contoken 0E5F1F3D09F14040 and no inactive versions
  and a V12 supplied package with Version UI73323 and contoken
  1B2197EB162F53D0 and a previous version. When they run the KC
  line command on the UI73323 version, most of the details are
  from the previous version and not from the actual Version which
  is V13R1 and not UI73323. When the user runs the DET command on
  this inactive package, it does not respond.

  *                      the PLANMGMTSCOPE option displays       *
  *                      an "S", which is invalid.               *

  The user has multiple packages with different version values
  and the packages have copies associated with them. When the
  user issues the KC line command on the ADB21K panel, the
  panel displays the wrong version number. Then, when the user
  issues the DET command on the same panel, the program hangs.
  Also, when issuing the F line command to free the package,
  the PLANMGMTSCOPE option displays an "S", which is invalid.
  

Problem conclusion

• The problems have been resolved.
