Error description

• ABENDS0C9 IQCXPACE at X'1096' when running QCF LOAD and
  with the MAXWAIT statement set as follows:
  MAXWAIT=00:00:01

Local fix

• Set the MAXWAIT state to MAXWAIT=00:00:02 or higher to avoid
  the abend.

  *                      function and with the MAXWAIT           *
  *                      statement set as follows:               *

  *                      If the load on IMS is high and the      *
  *                      processing time of each message in the  *
  *                      QCF takes more than 1 second, this      *
  *                      issue may occur.                        *

  * RECOMMENDATION: Apply the maintenance for this APAR.         *
  ****************************************************************
  The QCF LOAD function with the PACING converts the time it takes
  to actually insert a message and the time recorded in the IMS
  log into Clock Value to calculate the wait time between
  inserting the next message. ABENDS0C9 is caused by incorrect
  logic when calculating wait time using Clock Value.
  

Problem conclusion

• QCF has been modified to calculate Clock Value accurately.
