APAR status

Error description

  • Plugin startup takes out servers because they weren't fully
started.

Local fix

  • set HostVerificationStartupCheck=false and
secureHostVerification=false in the plugin-cfg.xml

Problem summary

During Plugin initialization, the Plugin will test secure
connections between itself and the backend server.  If the
connection fails because the backend isn't fully operational,
the Plugin will remove that server from the list of available
servers.

Problem conclusion

  • The Plugin has been changed to be more tolerant of this
situation and allow this server to be used for future
connections.

The fix for this APAR is targeted for inclusion in fix pack
8.5.5.25 & 9.0.5.18. For more information, see 'Recommended
