Error description

  • DESCRIPTION:  Object Compare generates an incorrect version file
when processing CCSID column attributes, which can lead to
changes and DDL being generated incorrectly where the CCSID
column attribute is substituted with other values.


This can also affect the DEFAULT and NULL attributes of the
column.


Object Compare should properly handle the attribute and populate
the correct values in the version file.

Object Compare generates an incorrect version file when
processing CCSID column attributes. CCSID 1208 might be
mistakenly substituted with FOR SBCS DATA in the generated DDL
and change files.
