  Since IMS APAR PH31440 left the IMS directory data set
  allocated, Reorg Expert unallocated the IMS directory data set
  in APAR PH53825. However, since it was unconditionally
  deallocated, an error occurred before IMS APAR PH31440 was
  applied.
  Thus, if RGE APAR PH53825/PTF UI91728 has been applied
  (unconditionally performing deallocate) but IMS APAR PH31440/PTF
  
  UI83769 has not been applied, then the ABENDU0102 can occur
  along with message:
  HPSG0102E DYNAMIC UNALLOCATION FAILED FOR DDNAME=DFSDIRC :
  RC=04, RSN=04, RSN=0438
  This error can also occur if all the following are applied:
  RGE APAR PH53825/PTF UI91728
  IMS APAR PH31440/PTF UI83769
  IMS APAR PH54844/PTF UI92794
  

Problem conclusion

• Reorg Expert has been modified to deallocate the IMS directory
  data set when it is allocated.
