Error description

• Customer is doing a CM import with a view that has all columns
  from a table in the DDL. When doing the analyze with validate
  WSL = Yes, an error is issued incorrectly:
  
  
  ADB3024E An error occurred while processing the SYV1231 object
  in the statement type of CREATE .The number of columns
  specified for the view does not match the number of columns in
  the corresponding table.

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: When using the AN line command with     *
  *                      VALIDATE WSL = YES for an import        *
  *                      change to create a new table and view,  *
  *                      the user receives an error in the       *
  *                      validate processing even though the WSL *
  *                      JCL does not have an error.             *

  The user issues the AN line command on panel ADB2C11A to analyze
  an imported change that creates a new partitioning table and a
  view on that table.  The user submits the AN job with
  VALIDATE WSL = YES and receives the following error in the job
  output:
    ADB3024E An error occurred while processing the VW1 object in
  the statement type of CREATE .  The number of columns
  specified for the view does not match the number of
  columns in the corresponding table.
  

Problem conclusion

• The problem has been resolved.
