    ****************************************************************
    * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
    ****************************************************************
    Currently Db2 subcommand BIND QUERY will issue DSNT281I error
    message when processing a statement from DSN_USERQUERY_TABLE
    with the DSN_USERQUERY_TABLE.TYPE='N'. It results in that Db2
    can't populate the access plan hint for the statements from a
    SQL PL package with the SYSPACKAGE.TYPE='N' thus can't
    enforce statement-level hints on the statements from SQL PL
    packages.
    PH54056 will relax this restriction on BIND QUERY subcommand
    and allow to enforce statement-level hints on the statements
    from SQL PL packages.

Problem conclusion

Temporary fix

Comments

  • PH54056 will relax this restriction on BIND QUERY subcommand
    and allow to enforce statement-level hints on the statements
    from SQL PL packages.
