PH53248: ABENDE37-08 ABEND OCCURS WHEN USING DET COMMAND ON ACCELERATOR TABLE

Error description

• Db2 Administrative Tool command DET is issued against an
  Accelerator. Under certain conditions, the command or batch job
  fails with a system ABENDE37-08 which is caused by allocation of
   the dataset without SPACE options.

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: The DET line command on an accelerator  *
  *                      might fail with ABENDE37.               *
  ****************************************************************
  When using the DET line command on an accelerator, a temporary
  data set ADBDFILE is allocated without the SPACE parameter. In
  some cases, this allocation might cause the following error:
  System abend code E37, reason code 00000008.
  Abend in host command EXECIO or address environment routine TSO.
  EXECIO error while trying to close a DD.
  

Problem conclusion

• The problem has been resolved.
