  Currently, there is no ability to filter z/OS Connect EE records
  for reports, extracts or forwarding based on SMF 123 fields.
  CICS PA z/OS Connect extracts and forwarding functions provide
  record counts but not byte count, thereby making difficult to
  determine the volume of data extracted or forwarded.
  Transaction Resource Usage reports selection criteria does not
  support transaction Response time, making it difficult to
  identify transactions with unacceptable response times.

Problem conclusion

• Idea CICSPA-I-102 is delivered in this APAR by enhancement to
  Report Set z/OS Connect Report/Extract/Forwarding definitions to
  provide the specification of selection criteria for a set
  pre-defined SMF 123 subtype 1 and 2 fields. This enhancement
  provides the user with a higher degree of report focus based on
  SMF 123 data.
  The z/OS Connect selection criteria will be combined with
  specified Performance selection criteria to determine the
  inclusion of desired records.
  Idea CICSPA-I-107 is delivered in this APAR by enhancing z/OS
  Connect Extract and Forwarding functions to report the number of
  bytes extracted or forwarded, providing the user with the data
  volume in addition to the record count.
  Idea CICSPA-I-108 is delivered in this APAR by enhancing the
  existing Transaction Resource Usage (TRU) selection criteria to
  support RESPONSE time. It will allow the TRU reports to be
  focused on transactions with unacceptable response times.
