PH52850: ABENDU3050 WITH THE FAST PATH ADVANCED TOOL (FPA) RELOAD WHEN THE ADS IS ALLOCATED ON MULTIPLE VOLUMES

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• When the output Area Data Sets (ADS) are allocated on multiple
  volumes due to the DATACLAS Space Constraint Relief attribute,
  the FPA RELOAD job tries to acquire excessive space that may
  result in an U3050.

  When the output ADS has non-zero HI-A-RBA on 2nd and subsequent
  volumes, FPA RELOAD job attempts to acquire excessive space.
  

Problem conclusion

• FPA has been changed as follows:
  . Issue Media Manager Extend call only for the volume that has
  zero HI-A-RBA
  . Not support ADS allocated with the extended addressability
  attribute
