APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • Three issues addressed:
    1) The BMP checkpoint summary report frequency exceptions for
       MINFREQ/MAXFREQ are incorrectly all marked as "Lo" when /Min
       calculation is used.
    2) Loginfo report does not honor PARM=UPPER specification.
    3) Internal Resource Usage report (IRUR) extracts with EOL(NONE)
       are marked as being in error, when EOL(NONE) is a valid
       option.

    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: 1. BMP Checkpoint summary exceptions *
    *                          incorrect                           *
    * 2. Loginfo report does not honor *

    *                      3. IRUR extract error with EOL(NONE)    *
    ****************************************************************
    1. BMP checkpoint summary report frequency exceptions for
       MINFREQ/MAXFREQ are incorrectly all marked as "Lo" when
       /Min calculation is used.
    2. Loginfo report does not honor PARM=UPPER specification.
    3. IRUR extracts with EOL(NONE) are marked as being in error,
       when EOL(NONE) is a valid option.

Problem conclusion

  • 1. A logic error in the BMP checkpoint summary report when
       processing frequency exceptions for MINFREQ/MAXFREQ resulted
       in all exceptions being marked as "Lo" when the rate /Min
       calculation is used.
    2. PARM=UPPER specification indicates that all report output
       should be translated to upper case characters only, the
       Loginfo report did not honor the UPPER specification. This
       has been corrected.
    3. IRUR extracts specified with with EOL(NONE) were marked as
       being in error by the command processor, when EOL(NONE) is
       actually a valid option. This has been corrected.
