PH52681: WORLD RWX PERMISSONS SET ON SOME FILES IN THE ZFS

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• After applying PTF UI75604 some file permissions were set
  with world rwx permissions.
  

Local fix

Problem summary

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Some files that are installed into the  *
  *                      ZFS had incorrect permissions.          *
  ****************************************************************
  * RECOMMENDATION: Apply the PTF for PH52681                    *
  ****************************************************************
  Some files will be accessible for world read, write, execute
  after application of PTFs after and including UI75604.
  

Problem conclusion

• All PTFs will now explicitly set the ZFS file permissions to
  their original GA values.
  Customers wishing to change the file permissions of SMP/E
  managed ZFS files must now alter them after the application of
  each PTF.
