Error description
Db2 HPU unduly stops with ABENDU1136 REASON=0000005F although the VUU084/ULLOBBHV parmlib parameter is set to STOP. This can occur if the following conditions are fulfilled: - 1) LOB data must be unloaded - 2) the unload is run in native mode - 3) the LOB data to unload is subject to concurrent updates during the unload which leads to inconsistency between the base tablespace and the associated LOB index which triggers the code driven by the value of VUU084/ULLOBBHV - 4) the enhancement brought by the APAR PH45159 is enabled
Local fix
none but you may want to avoid the ABENDU1136 from occuring by either of the following means, if applicable: 1) run the unload in SQL mode by specifying the DB2 FORCE option to remove the condition 2. This completely suppresses the risk of ABENDU1136 but has an impact on performance 2) specify the LOCK YES option to remove the condition 3. This completely suppresses the risk of ABENDU1136 but prevents concurrent updates against the LOB data involved in the unload 3) disable the enhancement brought by APAR PH45159 to remove the condition 4 by specifying LGARBCOL(0) in the value for the VUU063/ULOPTLX parmlib parameter. With this setting, the risk of ABENDU1136 is significantly lower but nonetheless present and the 64 bit memory consumption is not limited.
