Problem summary

• ****************************************************************
  * USERS AFFECTED: All customers using:                         *
  *                 IBM Z Decision Support Version 1.9.0 and     *
  *                 IBM Z Performance and Capacity Analytics     *
  *                 Version 3.1.0 DataMover.                     *
  ****************************************************************
  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: 1. Data loss occurs following message   *
  *                         DRLJ0155I.                           *
  *                                                              *
  *                      2. When the DataMover terminates in     *
  *                         error, the return code is 0.         *
  *                                                              *
  *                      3. The DataMover outputs message        *
  *                         DRLJ0085E instead of DRLJ0085I.      *
  *                                                              *
  *                      4. If the DataMover copies to           *
  *                         the PACKSMF format, data loss        *
  *                         can occur.                           *
  *                                                              *
  *                      5. When the DataMover is unable to      *
  *                         locate the log stream checkpoint,    *
  *                         message DRLJ0179E occurs             *
  *                         repeatedly.                          *
  *                                                              *
  *                      6. The default SSL Encryption protocol  *
  *                         for the DataMover is TLSv1.2.        *

  * RECOMMENDATION: Apply the PTFs provided.                     *
  ****************************************************************
  1. The DataMover fails to write the block of data after
     message DRLJ0155I is issued.
  
  2. The DataMover incorrectly terminates with return code 0
     after an exception.
  
  3. Message DRLJ0085I should be issued instead of DRLJ0085E.
  
  4. The DataMover is truncating records when using
     the PACKSMF format.
  
  5. The exception handling process is incorrect when
     the DataMover is unable to locate the log stream checkpoint.
  
  6. By default, the DataMover is configured to use TLSv1.2.
  

Problem conclusion

• 1. After message DRLJ0155I is issued, the DataMover is
     corrected to ensure the data block is written correctly.
  
  2. The DataMover terminates with correct return code.
  
  3. The DataMover outputs message DRLJ0085I instead of
     DRLJ0085E.
  
  4. The DataMover correctly processes the PACKSMF format.
  
  5. The DataMover terminates with message DRLJ0179E.
  
  6. By default, the DataMover is configured to use TLSv1.3.
