  When CICS is started a sequential disk is used to start a
  transaction. This transaction subsequently LINKs to a Java
  program.  When preparing to run the Java program CICS
  incorrectly initialises TERMINAL information in the JVM which
  causes an "InvalidTerminalIdException: empty terminal NETNAME"
  which can be seen in the JVM server error file.  This also
  causes message DFHCZ0299 and a system dump.  The Java program
  does run successfully.
  

Problem conclusion

• CICS has been updated so that tasks started from a sequential
  disk which calls a Java program do not cause the aforementioned
  problem.
