PH52158: CICS SMF TYPE 110.2 RECORDS MAY REPORT INCORRECT VALUES FOR TCPIPSERVICE unsolicited statistics

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• SMF reports show incorrect values for some of the fields
  in TCPIPSERVICE unsolicited statistics. In particular the
  'Current Backlog', 'Connections Dropped' and
  'Connections Last Dropped Time' fields.

Problem summary

  *                      TCPIPSERVICE unsolicited statistics.    *
  ****************************************************************
  When a TCPIPSERVICE is closed CICS generates unsolicited
  statistics. In some cases the values of Current_Backlog,
  Connections_Dropped and Connections_Last Dropped_Time fields
  may be incorrect.
  

Problem conclusion

• CICS has been changed to set these fields to zero in the
  unsolicited statistics.
