PH51813: FREEPAGE CHANGE MISSING FROM WSL/REPORT WHEN USING OBJECT COMPARE

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• In V11, if a table space is segmented, the number of pages left
  free must be less than value of SEGSIZE. However, in V12 the
  number of pages left must be less than segment size. In this
  case, tablespace is partitioned non-UTS so SEGSIZE is 0. That is
   why condition that checks if FREEPAGE is greater than SEGSIZE
  skips altering of FREEPAGE.

  When a user runs compare on a partitioned non-UTS and
  attempts to change the value of FREEPAGE, the change is not
  processed. The logic was updated to ensure that FREEPAGE is
  processed correctly.
  

Problem conclusion

• The problem has been resolved.
