PH51329: AL LINE COMMAND SHOULD NOT ALLOW TRACKMOD ALTER FOR IMPLICIT LOB TABLESPACE AS IT IS A DB2 RESTRICTION

APAR status

Error description

• Due to a Db2 restriction, the resulting ALTER for AL line
  command against TRACKMOD for implicit LOB tablespace fails with
  SQLCODE -109.
  
  There should be a panel level restriction that does not allow
  the AL command to generate the ALTER.

  *                      restrict the AL command from generating *
  *                      this ALTER.                             *

  The user tries to alter TRACKMOD by using the AL line command
  on an implicit LOB table space. It fails with SQL code -109,
  because TRACKMOD is not allowed to be altered for LOB
  table spaces. The AL panel should not have allowed a change
  to TRACKMOD for those table spaces.
  

Problem conclusion

• The problem has been resolved.
