PH50800: INVALID TRTABSZ OVERRIDE RESULTS IN 16K TRTABSZ WHEN PARMERR=IGNORE

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• The TRTABSZ parameter is set to 16K when an invalid value is
  entered in the override and PARMERR=IGNORE.

  CETR also shows the trace table size 16K. In CICS 5.6, the
  the minimum trace table size was increased from 16K to 1024K,
  so this shouldn't be able to happen.

  Given an out of range TRTABSZ value (not within 1024k-1048576k)
  with PARMERR=IGNORE specified in the SIT parameters, CICS
  incorrectly defaults the trace table size to 16k instead of
  12288k.
  

Problem conclusion

• CICS has been updated to ensure the default value is correctly
  assigned as 12288k given an out of range TRTABSZ value.
