Error description
The RECOVER utility (redirected recovery) terminates with messages DSNU1566I / DSNU1567I and RC=8 when the source objects were created before Db2 V10 and index contains DECIMAL column. UT statement: RECOVER TABLESPACE DBTARGET.TSTARGET DSNUM 1 FROM DBSOURCE.TSSOURCE DSNUM 1 DSNU1566I DSNUCASV - TARGET INDEXSPACE DBTARGET.IXTARGET DIFFERS FROM SOURCE INDEXSPACE DBSOURCE.IXSOURCE INDEX SCHEMA MISMATCH DSNU1567I DSNUCASV - DEFINITION OF TARGET INDEX DBTARGET.IXTARGET DIFFERS FROM SOURCE INDEX DBSOURCE.IXSOURCE: INDEX KEY COLUMN 1 SCALE - TARGET: 1, SOURCE: 0 ADDITIONAL SYMPTOMS: MSGDSNU1566I MSGDSNU1567I
Local fix
BYPASS/CIRCUMVENTION: Specify DIAGNOSE TYPE(8107) in the RECOVER job to skip schema verification during redirected recovery run.

The DECIMAL column has a zero value in both the PRECISION and SCALE fields in the source table OBD. RECOVER utility schema checking falsely identifed this as a schema mismatch between the source and target tables.
Problem conclusion
Db2 has been modified to avoid incorrectly issuing messages DSNU1566I and DSNU1567I during redirected recovery schema checking for an index space if the source objects were created before Db2 10 and the precision and scale value for a DECIMAL column are both zero in the table OBD.
