Error description

  • When the "Edit/Run SQL Statement" function path is used, panel
ADB2SORT restricts the command options "SAVE DELETE PROMOTE
PROMALL". This is by design. However, the associate HELP panel
ADBHSORT still shows the commands as being valid when it
    shouldn't

    * Reverse video occurs on panel ADB21. *
    ****************************************************************
    Issue 1:
By design, panel ADB2SORT restricts the command options
SAVE, DELETE, PROMOTE, and PROMALL when the
"Edit/Run SQL Statement" option is used. However, the
associated help panel, ADBHSORT, still includes information
about these commands. That information should not be
    included in this context.

    Issue 2:
When the "Show the DB2 Admin action bar" option is enabled
on panel ADBPPDO 'Panel Display Options', sort panel
ADB2SORT includes the command options SAVE, DELETE,
PROMOTE, and PROMAL when those options should be
hidden, specifically when using the "Edit/Run SQL Statement"
    option.

    Issue 3:
When the "Edit/Run SQL Statement" option is used, the
command options PROMPT and PROMALL are inadvertently
    displayed on sort panel ADB2SORT.

    Issue 4:
When the value of the "DB2 SQL ID" field on panel ADB21 is
not the user ID, reverse video highlight of the field extends
    to the next line.

Problem conclusion

  • The problems have been resolved.
