Error description

• The INVMAINT process will generate a S0C7 abend if the length of
  the INV$yy output data set name is exactly 44 characters. The
  INVMAINT process may experience a dynamic allocation error
  following a previous failed run.

  1. When an Inventory Maintenance report data set (INV$yy) is
  generated with a data set name exactly 44 characters long, this
  data set is not processed correctly by module BRNVCI71 causing
  a S0C7 abend.
  2. The INVMAINT sub task does not correctly free resources
  following an out of space failure on the dynamically allocated
  report data set (INV$yy). This causes a dynamic allocation
  error on subsequent runs of the INVMAINT sub task.
  

Problem conclusion

• 1. Module BRNVCI71 has been changed to correctly process the
  Inventory Maintenance report data set when the generated data
  set name is exactly 44 characters.
  2. The INVMAINT sub task has been changed to correctly free
  resources following an out of space failure on the dynamically
  allocated Inventory Maintenance report data set.
