APAR status

Error description

  • 490-UE - Transactions are not failing compliance when value is
blank.  Blank is not allowed in the Telecommunication Standard
after version C.4.

  • Users Affected:
IBM Transformation Extender Pack for Healthcare NCPDP

Problem Description:

Validation Map not reporting errors on fields that do not allow
blanks per restriction list.

Platforms Affected:
ALL

Problem conclusion

  • ndpdp_validation.mms was updated to fail fields if the have
restriction list values, and blanks were not included in that
list.

Applies to:

Healthcare Pack 10.1, 10.2
Fixed in the next service packs and releases.
