APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• When SUBSTR(Q8ACFLGS,10,1) = 0 both Q8ACBSC and Q8ACESC work
  correctly. When SUBSTR(Q8ACFLGS,10,1) = 1, Q8ACBSC contains the
  value that should be in Q8ACESC and Q8ACESC contains a value
  that is incorrect.

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: For some Db2 transactions the time      *
  *                      value (seconds) in fields ELAPSED_SEC   *
  *                      and ELAPSED_DB2_SEC in DB2_USER_TRAN_H  *
  *                      is much larger than the actual elapsed  *
  *                      time shown in the job output.           *
  ****************************************************************
  * RECOMMENDATION: Apply the provided PTFs.                     *
  ****************************************************************
  The fields ELAPSED_SEC and ELAPSED_DB2_SEC in table
  DB2_USER_TRAN_H include the data from the Db2 record that
  contains the elapsed time of the Db2 parallel tasks.
  This makes the apparent elapsed time longer than that recorded
  in the job log.
  

Problem conclusion

• The calculations for fields ELAPSED_SEC and ELAPSED_DB2_SEC are
  changed to exclude the data from the Db2 parallel tasks.
