Error description

  • While the CICS region is running, the access of CICS Default
    User ID or the CICS Region ID has been changed in RACF, e.g.
    connecting the user ID to another RACF user group. After that,
    CICS started to report DFHUS0200 messages periodically for the
    changed CICS Default/Region User ID.

Problem summary

  • ****************************************************************
    * USERS AFFECTED: All.                                         *
    ****************************************************************
    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: DFHUS0200 Messages received for REGION *
    *                      and/or DEFAULT user ID's.               *
    ****************************************************************
    When a user or application requires authentication via a SIGNON
    a USUD is created in the USER DOMAIN to represent
    the signed on resource ( eg, a signed on terminal or a WEB
    application). If the credentials of the resource match either
    the USER or REGION DEFAULT ID's then a path exists within CICS
    code to remove the USUD when an ENF arrives from RACF. This
    removal presents as a DFHUS0200 message. CICS should not do
    this when the USUD is either the REGION or DEFAULT userid.

Problem conclusion

  • The codepath controlling the aforementioned scenario has
    been amended to prevent such behaviour.
