PH50119: (GOC) COMPARE OF AN ADDITIONAL INDEX ON SRC GENERATES DROP/CREATE TABLESPACE BUT W/O CREATE OF TABLE & INDEX ON TARGET

Error description

• A table in the source environment has been enhanced by one
  additional index. When compare is carried out at an index level
  (TYPE='IX'). GOCCM generates a drop of the tablespace (although
  there are no differences on TS nor on TB level) and recreates
  the tablespace only. The table as well as the original Index are
   not re-created, they get 'lost' unnecessarily.

  *                      automatically, the target's scope is    *
  *                      enlarged to include the parent table.   *
  *                      This behavior results in a comparison   *
  *                      of the table from the target with the   *
  *                      source. However, the source does not    *
  *                      have this table, because its scope is   *
  *                      index only.                             *

  This APAR updates Change Management (including CM batch)
  to not enlarge the scope by including the parent table in the
  target when creating a change if the object in the source is
  an index.
  

Problem conclusion

• The problem has been resolved.
