PH50108: DR PREPARATION PROGRAM SETS INCORRECT SPACE PARAMETER FOR ALLOC COMMAND

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• DR preparation program sets incorrect values for SPACE parameter
  on IDCAMS ALLOCATE command for OLDS data set.
   - Even though secondary allocation is not requested for the
  original OLDS data set, incorrect secondary allocation size is
  set.
   - If the original data set has been allocated at cylinder
  address X'8000' or higher, incorrect allocation size is set.

  DR preparation program sets incorrect values for SPACE parameter
  on IDCAMS ALLOCATE command for OLDS data set:
  - Even though secondary allocation is not requested for the
  original OLDS data set, incorrect secondary allocation size is
  set.
  - If the original data set has been allocated at cylinder
  address X'8000' or higher, incorrect allocation size is set.

  This APAR also makes the following change:
  DR prep batch job has increased the JOB card input field on the
  ISPF panel from 65 to 72 bytes.

• Program error has been fixed.
