PH49976: IDZ 15.0.5 REMOTE CONNECTION EMULATOR TAB KEY DOES NOT PLACE THECURSOR IN CORRECT POSITION

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• In IDz 15.0.5, the remote Connection Emulator tab key does not
  always place the cursor in correct position.
  To recreate:
  Right click on the connection to start an RCE Session..the "Save
  As" panel is displayed save and Connect.
  Enter user id and select enter.
  If using the "Tab" key to tab to each field, Tab key should move
  to the cursor to the correct position.
  
  With a CICS connection, the sign-on is successful with DFHCE3549
  Sign-on is complete (Language ENU).
  After sign-on is successful, the cursor focus goes to the top of
  the page, but that space is not active.
  
  When typing CEDA or any other CICS command where the cursor is
  placed after the successful login, the Remote Connect emulator
  fails to register the command.
  The error that is returned is
   DFHAC2001 09/27/2022 15:41:09 CICSB010 Transaction '' is not
  recognized. Check that the transaction name is correct.
  
  If typing the command at the bottom of the page:
  DFHCE3549 Sign-on is complete (Language ENU).  ceda
  
  It successfully is processed and the next screen comes up.
  

Local fix

• Manually, place the cursor on the screen in an active field
  where it should be.
  

Problem summary

• Remote Connection Emulator Tab key does not always place the
  cursor in correct position and cursor placement issue also after
   typing.
  

Problem conclusion

• The IDz Remote Connection Emulator has been modified to correct
  the issue with the tab key.
