  • Server version is 9.0.5.11 and java version 8.0.7.5.
    
    Heapdump shows:
    One instance of com.ibm.ws.jaxrs20.cdi.component.JaxRsFactoryI
    mplicitBeanCDICustomizeroccupies 2,594,232,792 (80.46%) bytes.
    in one instance of java.util.HashMap$Node[] which occupies
    2,594,232,472 (80.46%) bytes.
    
    The java.util.HashMap entries are not being cleaned up
    appropriately.

Problem conclusion

  • HashMap was updated to a ConcurrentHashMap so that references
    can be released properly.
    
    NOTE: High heap usage is still expected, however, the
    ConcurrentHashMap should not be leaking.
    
    The fix for this APAR is targeted for inclusion in fix pack
