PH49717: NEW DFHLG0803 MESSAGE INTRODUCED BY APAR PH39710 IS MISSING IN DFHMELGE IN CICS TS 6.1

APAR status

Error description

• APAR PH39710 introduced new DFHLG0803 message if a DFHLG0772 is
  issued for a 8,82D response from the z/OS Logger for DFHLOG or
  DFHSHUNT to explain why we have to terminate CICS region. In
  CICS TS 6.1 that message is missing which causes DFHME0108
  message be issued to indicate it cannot be found.

  CICS issues a generic log failure message DFHLG0772 for an
  IXGLOGR return/reason codes of X'00000008', X'0000082D'
  (IxgRsnCodeExpiredStmToken). An additional informational message
  DFHLG0803 should be issued along with  DFHLG0772 to indicate
  that the z/OS logger has detected an expired stream token on an
  operation against a CICS system log logstream.
  However, an error message was issued indicating that DFHLG0803
  was not found in the module DFHMET1E.
  

Problem conclusion

• The CICS Messages manual will be updated with the following
  new message:
  DFHLG0803 applid The z/OS logger has detected an expired stream
  token on an operation against a CICS system log logstream.
  Explanation: The z/OS logger has returned an
  IxgRsnCodeExpiredStmToken (0000082D) Reason Code to the CICS
  log manager. The token invalidation may be the result of an
  IXGLOGR region failure, for example.
  System action: CICS has to terminate and reconnect to the
  logstream during the next startup. An emergency restart will
  ensure any inflight work is backed out in a coordinated manner.
  User response: This is an informational message. Refer to
  earlier message DFHLG0772 for further details of the z/OS logger
  operation and logstream which returned the
  IxgRsnCodeExpiredStmToken Reason Code.
