PH49145: DFH$54P SELECTING ALL RECORDS RATHER THAN SUBTYPE 80 RECORDS

APAR status

Error description

• In the DFH$54P sample file, all 1154 records are being selected
  rather than the subtype 80 records as it should be.

  The SMF type 1154 record provides compliance evidence data. A
  different subtype is assigned to each participating z/OS 2.5
  component or product. CICS writes SMF 1154 subtype 80 with the
  SMF information that it collects. DFH$54P is provided as a
  sample job to format SMF 1154 type 80 records, however, the
  sample is selecting all subtypes. This results in the DFH$54P
  job abending with unexpected data.
  

Problem conclusion

• The DFH$54P sample has been updated to select SMF 1154 subtype
  80 records.
