PH49108: JCICS RetrievedDataHolder.getValue().getData() returns null

Error description

• A task uses the JCICS Task.retrieve(BitSet, RetrievedDataHolder)
  method to get the data passed when the task was started.
  
  However the RetrievedDataHolder.getValue().getData() call to get
  the data returns null.

  A task is started using the START command with data supplied.
  The task runs a Java program within a JVMSERVER.  The program
  uses the task's JCICS Task instance to call Task.retrieve()
  passing a BitSet with RetrieveBits.DATA set and an instance of
  RetrievedDataHolder.
  
  Next the RetrievedDataHolder's getValue() method is called to
  get the RetrievedData object.
  
  However when the RetrievedData object's getData() method is
  called null may be returned rather than a byte array containing
  the start data.
  
  This causes the Java program to fail unexpectedly.  This may
  include a java.lang.NullPointerException.
  

Problem conclusion

• The JCICS Task retrieve() method has been updated to return the
  start data if the internal EXEC CICS RETRIEVE completes
  successfully.
