Error description

  • Compare in CMDELTA mode does not generate ALTER NUMPARTS when
partitioning key is changed and new partitions are added.

Partition level options for added partitions could be incorrect
(not just PCTFREE) if CM is used and tablespace level options
are altered.

* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: When CM is used, Object Compare might   *
*                      generate incorrect changes when new     *
*                      partitions are added to the table.      *
*                                                              *

When new partitions are added to the table and the partitioning
key is changed, Object Compare generates incorrect changes for
CM. The change fails with SQLCODE -661. Also, partition
attributes for added partitions could be incorrect if the
attribute is changed at the table space level.
