APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• ARSODF is not currently writing the ARSODF ready and terminating
  messages to the MVS system log. This is impacting their ability
  to perform auto operations.

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:  Messages ARS4336I and ARS4337I are not *
  *                       written to the z/OS log so customers   *
  *                       are unable to automate action based on *
  *                       messages.                              *
  ****************************************************************
  These messages are currently written only to the ODF syslog.
  

Problem conclusion

• ODF is modified to always write the messages to the z/OS log.
  When the -v parm is used the messages will be written to the ODF
  syslog as well.
