Error description

  • Description: For Db2 V12 and above setting a 5-char value of TCz
Db2 APPLCOMPAT bind' option to a short version leads to a
failure during plan generation.


Workaround: Set V12R1M100 for Db2 V12 CM, V12R1M500 for Db2 V12
NFM, V13R1M100 for Db V13 CM, V13R1M500 for Db2 V13 NFM.

Local fix

  • BYPASS/CIRCUMVENTION:
Set V12R1M100 for Db2 V12 CM, V12R1M500 for Db2 V12 NFM,
V13R1M100 for Db V13 CM, V13R1M500 for Db2 V13 NFM.

Problem summary

  • For Db2 V12 and above setting a 5-char value of TCz Db2

V12R1M500 for Db2 V12 NFM,
