PH48466: DSNJ031I WAS ISSUED MANY TIMES WITH AN INCORRECT LOG RECORDS NUMBER

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• If application INSERT many times without commit, DSNJ031I is
  issued as expected. But if application continue INSERT without
  commit, DSNJ031I is issued with the incorrect log record number.
  CONSOLE is filled up by DSNJ031I.
  For example,
  DSNJ031I UNCOMMITTED UR HAS WRITTEN 2147000000 LOG RECORDS
  DSNJ031I UNCOMMITTED UR HAS WRITTEN 2147000001 LOG RECORDS <=Err
  DSNJ031I UNCOMMITTED UR HAS WRITTEN 2147000002 LOG RECORDS <=Err

  * negative log record numbers for                              *
  * example -2136411328.                                         *

  * Apply corrective PTF when available                          *

  The error is due to an overflow on the log record count field.
  As a result, unexpected DSNJ031I messages are displayed on the
  console.
  

Problem conclusion

• The fields holding the log record counts are corrected.
