APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • App Connect Enterprise message containing ITX / WTX Map Node
with output defined as XMLNSC message domain converts apostrophe
to ' escape sequence in the map output and message tree and
may truncate data after the ' in some output fields.

The apostrophe / single quote is not converted to ' escape
sequence in ITX 10.1.0.1 and prior versions.

Problem summary

  • Users Affected:
IBM Transformation Extender users using ACE with XMLNSC output.

Problem Description:
When using ACE with XMLNSC output was sometimes truncated after
escape sequences.

Platforms Affected:
All

Problem conclusion

  • Correct code to look at the correct field to determine if ITX
XML parser is running under ACE. That change corrected the
outputting of data.

Applies to:
10.1.1.1

Fixed in the next service packs and releases.
