* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: A program autoinstall program is        *
*                      abended due to a CICS policy and is     *
*                      disabled.                               *
****************************************************************
A customer is using the program autoinstall facility and has a
policy to control the amount of CPU a task can use. A
transaction drives work in a JVM which calls Db2 and then comes
out of the JVM code and does a link to an application program
that has not been defined, so the program autoinstall is driven.
While the autoinstall control program for programs (DFHPGADX) is
running, the CPU policy just happens to hit which drives DFHMPAC
and abends the autoinstall program. The program autoinstall
function is disabled and subsequent autoinstall of programs
do not work.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • DFHMPAC has been changed to test the current program and, if it
is the autoinstall program, avoid carrying out the policy rule.
Thus the autoinstall program is not abended and disabled.
